Best In-Flight Entertainment: Virgin America RED

They led this category in 2010, and there are still no domestic airlines that come close to Virgin America's seat-back entertainment consoles. Each seat includes a nine-inch-wide touchscreen that offers 18 Dish Network channels, along with 25 on-demand movies that you can control just like your DVR (pause, rewind, etc.). Also included are interactive games and seat-to-seat chats, so you can actually converse with your co-worker in 14B about the presentation—without leaving your seat.
COST: Free (some movies require payment).
