Attached to the seat-back entertainment consoles, where you can control your TV options, Virgin America and Virgin Atlantic also have built in an innovative ordering system for on-board food and beverages. Perhaps more impressively, the food is quite good, from a gourmet sandwich selection to fresh fruit and tapas trays. Insider tip: Virgin stocks the plane with a limited amount of food. When it runs out, you won't see it on-screen any longer. So figure out what you want immediately after you board.
COST: $3 to $10.
