Help for Start-ups: New Website Lists Incubators, Freebies & More

Looking for some support for your small company? A new database lists accelerator programs, contests, events, and other offers.

Upcoming events at accelerator Blueprint Health, pictured above, are included on the f6s.com website.

Entrepreneurs just got a new way to find some support for their new start-up.

A new website, f6s.com, offers a database of accelerator programs, contests, conferences, and events.

The site currently has more than 400 programs and events for start-ups, which can be sorted and viewed by region, country, and type.

You can apply to several programs directly on the site. It also offers users the option of booking some events and follow others, such as hackathons and short events.

Site spokesman Sean Kane told TechCrunch that some companies are also using the site to offer freebies--such as an offer for $24,000 of free hosting from Rackspace.

The tools aspect [of] f6s.com makes peoples' lives a lot easier tracking all these. It seems to be delivering good value and there's a pretty big community now.
