Pueblo Radiological Group is an eight member radiology practice providing medical care to patients throughout Colorado, with Teleradiology comprising a significant percentage of our business. Our mission is to provide the utmost in quality radiology services with the highest level of integrity. Our vision for the future is to provide exemplary service to our patients and customers, delivering radiological interpretations from anywhere, at anytime. The tremendous advances in networking and bandwidth over the past decade have revolutionized the practice of radiology. Being a smaller group with limited resources and IT support, we have not been able to take full advantage of the technology available. There is no doubt that through developing and enacting an innovative business plan, we can dramatically improve and expand our services. One of our greatest challenges to expansion is the distribution of workload amongst our radiologists. Placing a radiologist at all of the hospitals we cover each day is not possible. However, with an innovative solution allowing evenly distributed workload, physical location will become immaterial. This would remove a huge roadblock to expanding to new hospitals and cities throughout Colorado and beyond. Also, incorporating home-based workstations for each radiologist will allow tremendously increased productivity and 24 hour service to our patients. Keys to growth are improved internet connectivity, networking and equipment. Recently changing our internet service provider to Comcast Business has resulted in improved speed, reliability and overall service. However, we are in need of an integrated solution that will allow us to achieve our vision.
