While the adoption of the cloud has been ratcheting up -- and its benefits are being loudly proclaimed -- CompTIA's 2013 Annual Trends in Cloud Computing report reveals that only about 35 percent of small businesses are utilizing it in some form. Yet, cloud computing is neither costly nor complex. It may well be that cloud computing as a basic concept isn't that well understood.
