NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter or win. To enter, go to the Web page for this Sweepstakes, located on this web site at www.Inc.com, and complete and submit the registration form as instructed. One entry per email address; mechanically reproduced entries not accepted. Entries must be received no later than 11:59pm on September 1, 2003. Only entries submitted electronically to the Web Site in accordance with these rules will be eligible for consideration. Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the continental United States minimum age 21, except employees of Gruner + Jahr USA Publishing ("G+J"), HUMMER Division, General Motors Corporation, their parent, subsidiary and affiliate companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate families of the foregoing employees. Submission of entry constitutes permission for G+J/HUMMER to use entrant's email address and other submitted information for purposes of marketing and promotion.
Selection of Winner[s]. Total number of eligible entries received determines odds of winning. From all eligible entries received, G+J randomly will select one (1) winner on or about September 5, 2003. Winner will be notified by electronic mail on or about September 5, 2003. Winner must reply with all contact information requested in the notification within ten (10) days from the date notification was sent, or another winner may be selected.
Prize[s]: A weekend trip [Friday night through Sunday] for winner and one (1) guest to the Staglin Vineyard in Napa Valley, California, including, roundtrip coach airfare for winner and guest from major airport nearest winners home to Sacramento, California (approx. retail value $1,200); 3 day car rental for transportation to and from Sacramento and Nappa Valley (approx. retail value $300) two (2) nights hotel accommodations (one room; double occupancy)(approx. retail value: $500); dinner/wine tasting for winner and guest [for one night (approx. retail value 1,000). The approximate retail value of the total prize: $3,000. All other expenses and all federal, state and local taxes, are winner's sole responsibility. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Travel by winner and guest must be from same point of origin. Prize winners guest must also be at least 21 years old. Trip must be completed between October 3rd and 5th, 2003. No transfer or substitution of prize except at G+J/HUMMER's sole discretion. Winner and guest may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/publicity and liability release to be returned within ten (10) days from the date it was sent, or another winner may be selected.
Limitations of Liability/Reserved Rights. Neither Fast Company/HUMMER/General Motors Corporation, their parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, nor their promotional agencies shall have any obligation or responsibility with regard to (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer or technical error of any kind, (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or (iv) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize. Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Web site or otherwise violating these rules. Sponsors further reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if the Sweepstakes cannot be completed as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
Miscellaneous. The winner's name will be posted on the Web Site on or about September 5, 2003, or for the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Fast Company, 375 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10017, after September 5, 2003. Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations; void where prohibited or restricted by law.
