Coolest College Startups 2014: Inc. Announces the Elite 8
The results are in. More than 870 people voted in Round 1 of Inc.'s March Madness matchup of the Coolest College Startups. While each company garnered an admirable number of votes, eight emerged as winners.
Inc.'s Elite 8 college startups are: Golden Gear, Try the World, Applits, Scholly, Pufferfish Software, Keen Home, ProfilePasser, and Wink Natural Cosmetics. For more information, scroll over these company names below.
Which of these startups will make it to the Final Four? Only you can decide. Place your votes in the bracket below by Friday, March 28.

Inc.'s 2014 March Madness tournament operates in a phased voting system. There are four different rounds, in which you'll vote for your favored team or teams for that round. You can only vote once per round (which typically last one business week). Then press "Save," and tell your friends!
Each new round will start weekly on Mondays from March 17 through early April. The championship "match" will take place on April 7 and the winner will be announced on April 8.
