Entrepreneur of the Year Nominee

Bill Kasko

President, Frontline Source Group, Inc.
Dallas - TX US

I created a Temporary Staffing Agency unlike any in the industry!

When I thought about opening a staffing agency, my plan was simple...create a team of people who produce exceptional results. This team would be composed of those who had an entrepreneurial background etched in their DNA. They would think outside the box, love people, and be smarter than me.

I would entrust my team to run with new ideas, give them every tool available and work together unlike the staffing industry norm. Group rewards would be given based on what motivated the team, as well as individual commissions. Everyone would be encouraged to share information and resources freely. We would treat our internal company like a family, thus keeping low turnover, which is unheard of in this industry.

Since inception, we have not pursued clients; placement opportunities come to us because we use the latest technology techniques rather than a sales team. Our emphasis is on locating quality talent for our clients. We meet with new clients on-site to match personalities, requirements and methodologies and not concentrate on how much we are going to profit.

Building long term relationships with companies that we choose to do business with is the result of our team-focused work ethic. As long as we remain open to new opportunities, have strong business ethics and a positive work methodology, we will continue to prosper.

Very well put

Bill is an amazing person to work with. He is a great teacher who has vision; it is not about the quick results but about the big picture. He truly believes in the relationships he creates in this industry. Bill has focused on the traditional face to face value of getting to know the people he works with. That is difficult to come across with technology taking over! He believes in mutual respect which is something I have not found in a lot of people. I truly believe all of these values make Bill the entrepreneur of the year!
Shelly Hoover - Dallas, Texas

Great story and looks like a great company...they care about their people! Few Staffing Agencies truly care about their people.
Robert Harrell - Dallas, TX

As a recent graduate from Southern Methodist University, I was struggling to secure a position. After having met Bill only once and bringing up my situation during friendly conversation, Bill put me into contact with the right people to get the interview process started at several firms in the Dallas area-- and at no profit to him or his company. I believe a selfless act like this should definitely be recognized as I will recommend Frontline Source Group as an outstanding firm that truly cares about its clients to anyone I come across in the future.
Jess Andrews - Dallas, TX

What Bill has done extremely well with his company is to constantly train his employees in providing the best service to both clients and candidates!
Melinda Momot - Dallas, TX

So many agencies with so many of the same problems. And yet, each new agency that opens, opens under the same structure. Bill's entrepreneurial thinking has addressed and solved the issues that plague staffing firms and cause them high turnover. As a result, overnight success has found him!

Bill's a planner. Having the opportunity to work with Bill, you can see how his strategies play out. He's not expecting an over-night sensation, rather he's building a company that is here to stay. With a strong vision, the goal to enhance relationships, and to above all, take care of his people, Frontline Source Group is seeing great success - Bill is the driving force behind this sucess.
Sherrie Dvorak - Arlington, TX

seems pretty standard.
James Button - mobile alabama

Bill is a great person to work for. He is patient and spends a great deal of time training and ensuring that all of his team members have the tools to succeed. His vision, determination and drive to make not only himself successful but his team members successful as well has enabled Frontline to gain such a positive reputation among its clients. Thanks to Bill's vision he has created a company that is unlike any other.
Ceesun Sumurdy - Dallas, TX

They understand their customer and it appears that the vision of their employees as well. Sounds like a great planner and thinker in an industry with few ethics. Wish I had found this company before I went to work with one of the Fortune 500 staffing firms! Good job!
Suzie Montgomery - Dallas, TX

While the concept of a staffing and recruiting firm isn't a new idea, how Bill runs Frontline is bright and innovative. With Frontline Source Group, candidates and clients are never just a number. People are treated with respect. Communication lines stay open. It has been a true joy working with Frontline Source Group and Bill.
Kathy Solomon - Irving, TX

Bill believes in his team which is why he has made Frontline Source Group so successful. I have seen first hand how much he cares about his employees. They are happy and they have fun while doing their job. It all goes back to strong ethics and mutual respect.
Christopher Fields - Dallas, TX

As a potential job seeker, I can truly say that Bill Kasko runs a staffing agency unlike any other. Bill and his team take the time to meet with each candidate and find out what each individual is really looking for. It is not strictly about making the placement. The entire Frontline team makes an effort to do what is best for each individual candidate. Bill instills this in all of his recruiters and thanks to him and his people, my opinion of staffing agencies has changed.
JD Andrews - Dallas, TX

Great teacher!!!
Becca Rogers - Lewisville, TX

Really takes the time to find out the type of person each client is looking for. Goes the extra mile to ensure that each candidate is the right fit.
Caitlin Hardeman - Austin, TX

Shabob Kyresntizarrew - irving, TX

When I came across the website for Frontline Source Group online, I applied just thinking it was another temp service. I was so wrong. The people were nice and communicated openly and honestly with me. I have since done additional work with the firm and have referred several friends to work with Bill too. This company is so different from staffing firms that I have dealt with in the past - in fact, working with Frontline has been a such pleasure to work with.
Sue Lahey - Dallas, TX

Frontline is different because of the people they represent. Even though I ended up hiring a candidate internally, I would recommend Frontline to everyone. It was truly a pleasure working with Bill and his entire group.
Guy Holdsen - Dallas, TX

Very proud to be one of Bill's employees
Jim Wilson - Dallas, TX

Talk about a great new way of looking at people and staffing. I'd work for Bill - he seems to have a great attitude.
Deb Brendi - NY, NY

I'd like to work at a place like this. To me, human connection is just the most important part of any working relationship, and although competition is healthy, it's nice to see cooperation take a front seat. I give Mr. Kasko a 10.
Rose Schroeder - Bridge City, TX

Someone said this sounds standard - I don't think you appreciate how unique this is in the staffing industry. I've been a recruiter at two different staffing agencies, and they expected my life to revolve around the job. We were encouraged to regularly work 12-16 hour days. After six years of this, I'm looking for a company like Frontline, that cares about my personal life and sanity. Thanks for keeping realistic employee expectations!
Janet Swane - Atlanta, GA

I've known Bill and his wife for years, and have to say I can't think of anyone who deserves this more. Bill's a great worker, a great friend, and a man who brings to the office his belief in the importance of family.
Charlotte J. - Lafayette, LA

I moved out from Port Arthur to Dallas and didn't know a soul, and until I found Frontline, my husband and I were living off his salary alone, not enough to make up for the change in living expenses. Well, my first interview there, he got me a job, and now we're doing just fine. I think Bill's a great man. Thanks again!
Tonya Abrams - Dallas, TX

I've know Bill since he was a kid, bypassing lemonade stands for a candy vending machine he bought at a garage sale with paper route money. He always had that innovative spirit, and it shows in his work ethic now that he's grown up. He deserves this award.
John Abraham - Detroit

Sticks to his morals and has created a company that eximplifies this.
Michael S. - Birmingham, AL

Great recruiter and truly nice person.
Jennifer Taylor - Hurst, TX

Bill is a good man!
Pam Cornett - Arlington, Tx

Super nice guy!
Katie - Dallas, TX

Bill has great business instincts and is not afraid to try something new. If it makes sense, do it! His staffing/recruiting business model brings a fresh twist to a somewhat stale industry.
David Cerami - Dallas, Texas

I called Bill's company due to a position I needed to be filled. Bill took the time to come out and meet with me personally so that he could understand the positions needs first hand. Shortly after he and his staff filled the position with a high quality person; however, I am most impressed by how his employees love to work for/with Bill. He is a great example for anyone who is looking to develop a successful company culture.
Pat Hyland - Grapevine, TX

The ability to recognize your own strengths and weaknesses is the key to being a successful business owner- Bill is exceptional at this. He knows when to lead and knows when to delegate. He has a phenominal business model which is 2nd to none in the business.
Steve Clary - Dallas, Texas

One of the finest people I know. Very forward thinking and a caring person.
Marilyn Work - Detroit, Michigan

Great guy!
Ray Shepard - Dallas, TX
