Joseph Grenny is co-founder of VitalSmarts, an innovator in corporate training and organizational performance that has been ranked twice by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in America.
Over the past 20 years Joseph has worked with and taught thousands of leaders on every major continent, from the board rooms of Fortune 500 companies to the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. He has advised senior executives on more than a dozen major culture change initiatives—including one with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics whose CEO credited his work with enabling their winning of the $200 billion Joint Strike Fighter contract.
A life-long entrepreneur, Joseph co-founded and served as president of California Computer Corporation and was one of the first executives for the Covey Leadership Center. He also co-founded Unitus, a non-profit organization that has helped over half a million third world poor achieve economic self-reliance through “microcredit.”
Joseph has co-authored two immediate New York Times bestsellers, Crucial Conversations and Crucial Confrontations. His latest book, Influencer: The Power to Change Anything, will be in bookstores Fall 2007. Products resulting from his work have been used by more than 500,000 people worldwide, and have been translated into more than 20 languages.
