Twenty-two years ago a young Houston RN knew she could do more with her profession than work in a hospital.
Today Vickie L, Milazzo, RN, MSN, JD, owns a $10 million business where she teaches other RNs to do the same for themselves.
Applying unparalleled marketing strategies, Vickie pioneered a whole new world where nurses can be independent business owners as Certified Legal Nurse ConsultantsCM (CLNC®s). Over 20,000 nurses have become CLNCs through her home-study program or 6-day seminars. As entrepreneurs, they earn $100-$150 an hour working with attorneys on medical-related cases. Hospital nurses make an average of $23 an hour.
Vickie knows that entrepreneurial success happens in the real world, not a classroom, so she offers free mentoring to all her graduates. Vickie Milazzo Institute’s CLNC Mentors are practicing, full-time Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. They mentor beginning CLNCs on everything from critiquing a promotional packet to offering feedback on a case report.
As successful as she is, Vickie measures her own entrepreneurial success, not by revenues, but by the entrepreneurial success of her students.
