IRS Revamps Website to Be Small Business Friendly

The IRS has revamped its website, hoping to make it easier for small business owners to use.

The biggest change: A new page called Recommended Reading for Small Businesses, which aggregates all of the IRS’ small business documents and information into one location.

Now, entrepreneurs can learn how to depreciate property values and expense travel costs under one digital roof. Users can either view the documents online or download them onto their computers.

Another new feature is the Small Business Forms and Publications page, which collects all of the paperwork entrepreneurs need to run their businesses--W-4s, applications for an employer identification number, and more are now grouped together.

The page, which is broken down by specific industries like retail, construction, and farming, also includes numerous other documents that can help business owners with management, payment, and taxation issues.

Added bonus: Everything is available in Spanish now, too.
