What it does:
Online retailer of costumes, ranging from Elvis to Iron Man, for children, adults and even pets.
Why it's growing:
Much of the company's success is attributed to Static Advantage, a software program developed by Co-Founder Matthew Maloney. The software converts dynamically generated pages into static pages, which are more easily crawled, resulting in more relevant search terms being passed to search engines.
What's noteworthy:
When Costume Craze first started, it only sold one thing: monk robes. Today, clients include NFL cheerleading squads, World Wrestling Entertainment, The Early Show on CBS, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. It's also worth noting that the company once sold nearly 150 chicken costumes to an east coast grocery store chain.
