The new exec is a former Salesforce senior vice president and Goldman Sachs alum.
Payment services start-up Square has hired a new chief financial officer with plenty of big-league experience.
The company announced Wednesday that it had tapped Sarah Friar as the company’s new CFO.
Most recently, Friar was former senior vice president of finance and strategy at enterprise software company Salesforce; prior to that, she spent 10 years in the corporate finance department at Goldman Sachs.
In the press release, Square also says it now processes more than $6 billion in payments annually, and that the company has grown from 80 workers to more than 200 in the past year.
