Older Founders Tend to Pay Themselves More (Infographic)

Data from benchmarking website Compass show that with age comes more money.

As you grow older and much wiser, can you look forward to a bigger payout for the work that you do? For founders in the 31-40 and 41-50 age ranges, the answer is yes, according to benchmarking website Compass. However, though older founders pay themselves as much as 71 percent more than younger ones, the highest average salary for founders globally is no more than $60,5000 per year. 

Statistics company Statista created the chart below, which highlights the average annual pay for founders in different age ranges.
