Looking for new products or processes to produce and market? General Electric publishes a monthly news service, called Selected Business Ventures (SBV), that includes innovations available for licensing -- everything from solar panel roofing systems to drip catchers for watering plants.

The products are listed in six sections; for example, "mechanical fabrications" and "materials, forming and production methods." Each product or process listed has been developed at either GE or other companies, universities, research and development labs, or federal agencies. Names and addresses of contacts are provided, but SBV does not make recommendations or become involved in negotiations.
