Index is derived from the stock prices of 55 growth corporations (see INC., September, page 148). Initial public offerings are tabulated for the latest available month, together with their first after market trades. The IPO Monitor collectively follows "old" new issues on the stock exchanges. Monthly commentary, however, is a separate department (see Street Talk).
