Looking for bright people to recruit for your company? Statistics show an increasing number of business school graduates are interested in working for small firms.
At Stanford University's Graduate School of Business Administration, for example, 23% of the 1981 class chose to work for companies with fewer than 100 employees, up from 14% in 1980.
To get the names of interested students, try contacting a business school's career placement office or small business club. Some schools publish resume books of individuals specifically interested in working for small companies. Stanford's 1982 Resume Book, for instance, is available free of charge by writing NESBA, Resume Book, Stanford University, Graduate School of Business Administration, Stanford, CA 94305.
