Sweeping The Corners
I read with interest Frederick's "The Greening of New Mexico" (April). Fortunately the state of New Mexico does not end in Albuquerque. Probably the largest developing area is the northeast corner of the state. Over the past four years $62 million has been expended for CO[2] development and the Clayton, N. Mex., banks have increased deposits by 44%. While this is excellent for a basically rural area, it represents only a small fraction of the expected $2.3 billion development project. With these facts in mind, our portion of the state will become one of New Mexico's greater assets.
