Cookie War Ii
I was amazed at the treatment of your cover story, "Cookie Wars." You never really fully described David Liederman as well as you did Debbi Fields. Since she is a "wasp-waisted, clear-skinned, 27-year-old," is he a virile, swarthy jet-setter? I had hoped for a better description.
If INC. should continue to use its sloan, "The Magazine for Growing Companies," you should pay more attention to your portrayals of women in business. Since women make up a significant percentage of small-business owners and entrepreneurs, I think it is imperative that they be taken seriously. If a magazine dedicated to business isn't dedicated to the readers it serves, then what purpose does it serve?
