Strength In Numbers
The current proliferation of chief executive officers' self-help groups proves that the networking concept is just as valid and important today as it was in 1957 when Bob Nourse founded The Executive Committee (TEC) here in Milwaukee.
While TEC has expanded its presence to other parts of the country, the original organization continues to be a major force in the corporate community in the upper Midwest, serving 250 member companies. Current plans for the Milwaukee-based company include the creation of groups in several new cities in 1985 and 1986.
