How New Is Workstyle?

 

Frankly, there is nothing in "Workstyle" (January) that has not been said, and said very well, 30 years ago by Douglas McGregor, and 20 years ago by Chris Argyris and Warren Bennis. And the best comment -- and not necessarily a wholly complimentary one -- on the workstyle approach can be found in the last major book Abraham Maslow wrote all of 20 years ago, called Eupsychian Management.
