If only Mr. Ed had had MagicCushion Horseshoes, what Pegasus Distributing president Joe McKenna calls "Nikes for horses." Designed by an aerospace engineer from Rockwell International, the racing horseshoes consist of a layer of shock-absorbing neoprene sandwiched between two pieces of aluminum. At $50 a set, they're three times the cost of ordinary horseshoes.
