The market for multiplex cinemas is pretty well saturated, but Robert Garner thinks a nightclub atmosphere will give his new chain an edge. With fog billowing from the ceilings, lasers flashing across the lobbies, and $5 million in venture funds, F.S.A. Super Saver Cinemas Ltd., in El Paso, forgoes first-run films but still hopes to do heavy volume with $1 admissions.
