Venture capitalist Glen Moorehead was intrigued by an inventor's product: a handheld computer that calls up biblical passages. But a patent search turned up another man who'd had the same idea in the same month of the same year. So all three parties joined to create Computer Bible Technologies Inc., in Springfield, Ill.
