No Frills PR
PR firm founder suggests simplicity and directness in his field.
By Inc. Staff | Mar 1, 1989
Generic Public Relations is the name San Jose, Calif., sole practitioner Peter Brown chose for his no-frills PR firm. "The problem with large PR agencies is that they put a lot of fluff around what's really a simple task," he says. "I just say to clients, 'Want a press release? Here's a press release.' " To drive home the point, he uses a universal product code symbol for his logo.
