A visit to a travel agency is nothing to write home about, but R. J. Timlin hopes to change that. His Wingtips Video Travel Agency has a center in Montgomeryville, Pa., with lounges for viewing travel videos, private suites for discussion, and a shop selling books, cassettes, and globes. Timlin plans to franchise the design, which recently won a Special Concept Award from Chain Store Age Executive magazine.
