Company sells For Sale signs lighted by solar power.

When the recession hit Norman, Okla., solar-panel installer Ed Wilkes figured he'd better come up with something he could sell in flusher parts of the country. His idea: For Sale signs lighted by solar power, both functional and gimmicky. Sunsign Manufacturing Co. is lining up licensees to purchase the $350 billboards and rent them to realtors.
