Agilis Corp. is the latest entry in the handheld computer market. The Mountain View, Calif., company has come out with a unit that can be networked via radio waves, allowing emergency workers, for example, to get information at the site of a chemical fire. Headed by GRiD Systems cofounder John Ellenby, Agilis is financed with $11.2 million in venture capital.
