Having trouble contacting customers at the CEO level? Bill Czapar, CEO of Anaheim Custom Extruders Inc., in Anaheim, Calif., waved goodbye to that problem with his California Limo Lunch, a limousine-chauffeured luncheon invitation.
Once a CEO experiences the thrill of being whisked away by limousine to a restaurant, future invitations are rarely refused, giving Czapar regular opportunities to conduct business conversations with no interruptions.
"I'm trying to pave the way so that if there is a problem with our product, we don't get thrown out for an occasional mistake," explains Czapar. He extends the lunch invitations about four times a year to the 20 customers responsible for most of his $3-million annual sales of custom extruded plastics.
