Businesses are popping up left and right to cater to all those baby boomers now misty-eyed about their youth. The latest entrant is New York City radio and TV personality Joe Franklin, with a mostly 1940s- and 1950s-oriented magazine, Joe Franklin's Nostalgia. His company has visions of making Franklin a kind of brand name in nostalgia, with a syndicated comic strip and TV show as well. The plan: execute each project through licensing arrangements and joint ventures.
