A Fish Story
Seafood processing plant turns down offer from Trump's Taj Mahal because of unfavorable payment terms.
Something smelled fishy to Mike and Linda Foley when chefs of the Trump Taj Mahal came calling last spring to buy seafood. It seems that Donald's people wanted to stock the debt-drowned night spot with fish from the Foleys' processing plant . . . only if the payment terms could be stretched. Although it looked to be a $2-million catch, the Foleys threw the order back, saving the company from carrying an estimated $200,000 in monthly receivables.
