Start-up invents a comprehensive way for interior designers and galleries to hunt for artwork.
A Denver company has invented a more comprehensive way for interior designers and art galleries to hunt for artwork. Art-Search's database of contemporary art includes visual images, descriptions, and audio clips. Customers sift through the 10,000 images by entering preferences in style, subject, price, and color. The company is going global through joint ventures -- the first with C. Itoh, the $133-billion Japanese conglomerate.
