A Reading List For Nervous CEOS
Guides to help companies comply with EPA regulations
Karen Wardzinski, formerly an EPA lawyer and now an environmental specialist with Freedman, Levy, Kroll & Simonds, in Washington, D.C., recommends these publications to help companies comply with Clean Water Act regulations:
* The Corporate Counsel's Guide to Environmental Law, edited by William Hancock and Karen Crist (Business Laws, 800-759-0929; $135). Updated each October.
* "The Environmental Counselor" (Business Laws, $185 per year). A monthly newsletter that highlights a range of issues.
* "Environment Reporter" (Bureau of National Affairs, 800-372-1033; $2,180 for the complete 31-binder service). A newsletter said to be what the EPA reads to find out what the EPA is thinking. -- Susan Greco
