Entrepreneurial Educator of the Year category added to Inc. Entrepreneur of the Year program.

We like to think of our Entrepreneur of the Year program as "the Academy Awards of management excellence and innovation." Now, as we begin the nominating process for the 1993 awards, we're happy to announce a new category: Entrepreneurial Educator of the Year. The award is open to teachers at kindergarten through 12th-grade levels; college, junior-college, and university teachers; and individuals outside the traditional educational system with programs that focus on entrepreneurship. Nominations will be screened by a panel of prominent educators, and the winner will be chosen by Inc.'s national panel of judges. In addition to being featured in our December issue, the top educator will receive a grant to develop full documentation of the teaching innovation.
