Residence Inn has developed a workout for business travelers that can be performed with hotel paraphernalia.

The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends activities such as bicycling and tennis -- diversions generally not available to the business traveler. With that in mind, the AHA, in cooperation with Residence Inn, has developed workouts that can be performed with hotel paraphernalia. A sample: "Phone Book Leg Lifts. Lie on your side with one hand supporting your head. Open a phone book halfway and drape it over your outside leg. Keeping your knee straight, raise your leg 4 to 10 inches, then lower."
