What's ahead in 1994? We asked Paul Farrell, a Morgan Stanley veteran and former executive vice-president for Financial News Network, who is now a practicing financial astrologist. His forecast: a modest correction in the stock market, gross-national-product growth in the 1½%-to-2% range, and a "creeping up" of interest rates, perhaps by a point or two. "I think it's a time of entrepreneurial paradox," says Farrell. "A great time to be starting a business, to be going after your dreams, but also a time when owners of established businesses should proceed with extreme caution." Then again, what else would you expect given the recent conjunction of Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn?
