No one can accuse the U.S. Small Business Administration of being slow to embrace electronic media. The SBA, which has sponsored the popular SBA Online bulletin board since 1992, now has its own "home page" on the World Wide Web, an area of the Internet where many businesses are starting to advertise. If you have access to the World Wide Web, you can reach the SBA's home page at http://www.sbaonline.sba.gov. The information there is a subset of SBA Online, which anyone with a modem can reach at 800-697-4636 (for the public-information section of the computer bulletin board) or 900-463-4636 (for the full SBA Online service). In Washington, D.C., the number is 202-401-9600. For more information telephone the SBA Technical Support line at 202-205-6400.
