Michelle Madhok, founder of the shopping sites SheFinds.com and MomFinds.com, is set to appear on Hired, a new MTV show. Madhok will be seen interviewing 17 candidates for one editorial job. She says her goal for the show was to be interesting without seeming crazy. "You don't want to look like an idiot on TV."…Homaro Cantu, co-founder of Moto restaurant in Chicago and creator of such dishes as frozen watermelon sashimi, is co-hosting Future Food, a new show on Planet Green. "The challenge is making what we do at Moto interesting to viewers," says Cantu. "At the restaurant, I can just serve an edible menu."...John Caplan, former CEO of Ford Models, has launched OpenSky, a service that helps bloggers sell products on their websites by connecting them with suppliers. "We make it possible for shoppers to buy from people they know and trust," Caplan says.…Former Philadelphia 76ers president Pat Croce is moving his Pirate Soul museum from Key West to family-friendly St. Augustine. "I love Key West, but it's not a good market for a museum," says the pirate-obsessed entrepreneur....Russell Simmons, co-founder of Def Jam Recordings, has launched a program in his native New York City that trains volunteers to serve as role models on neighborhood streets. "We hope to plant a seed of peace that will spread," Simmons says.
