A New Way to Pay With Credit Cards
Citibank recently announced a new type of credit card with a built-in computer chip that allows users to pay with the push of a button.
Credit card design has not changed much over the years. Now, Citibank is ushering in a new breed of credit cards with built-in computer chips. The Citi 2G card is the same size and weight as a standard credit card. But the front of the card features two buttons that you can push to pay for purchases with your regular credit account or with rewards points. Another cool feature: If you don't have enough rewards points to pay for a purchase, the card automatically adds the balance to your credit account. Citibank plans to roll out the cards nationwide this year at no extra cost.
