Company: Nextaff
2012 Rank: No. 308
3-Year Growth: 1,206%
2011 Revenue: $84.5 million
Cary Daniel made the unusual choice to franchise his staffing business almost from the start. There are now eight Nextaff franchisees, with each able to tailor its services to its local market. That proved to be a big selling point as businesses' HR services first became overwhelmed from layoffs during the recession, and then needed to quickly fill temporary positions as the economy improved. Now Daniel is moving beyond his original concept. He's readying a package of HR services that Nextaff franchisees will soon be able to sell, such as payroll management and retirement and health benefit programs.
