Intuit Seeks Buzz Through Jingles

 

In the quest for buzz, Intuit's QuickBooks division, which serves small businesses, is turning to music. The company has launched a wesbite called The Jingle Generator, that entrepreneurs can use to create funny self-promotional jingles.

The site features a barmy character named Tommy Silk who promises that he "has the jingle to make your business go crazy."

As the Marketing Daily newsletter reports, Intuit's goal is to engage customers emotionally. The company has promoted the site through pages on MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter.
