CEO Politicos

The 77-year-old former IBM salesman with the Southern drawl is best known for running for the presidency in both 1992 and 1996. As a strong third-party candidate, Perot garnered almost 19 percent of the popular vote in 1992 and 8 percent in 1996, but never managed to secure a single electoral vote. He's had a lot more success in the business world. In 1962, he founded Electronic Data Systems, which he sold to General Motors for $2.5 billion two decades later. He later launched another information services company Perot Systems, which brought in revenue of $2.3 billion in 2006.
