Cities That Pay the Least |
|
|---|---|
The Bureau of Labor Statistics recently released data on average salaries and wages across industries and metropolitan areas. These are the cities that pay their residents the least -- where you're more likely to make less money doing the same job. (Of course, keep in mind, those cities may also have a lower cost of living) Within each city, certain industries stand out as being particularly lagging, and we have highlighted those as well. All percentages are relative to the national average; for example, Springfield, Mo.'s -10% means that Springfield residents make 10% less than the average national salary. |
