Entrepreneur of the Year: Where Are They Now?

Ping Fu launched Geomagic, a 3-D scanning software firm, after fleeing the Cultural Revolution in her native China. By 2005, her company was bringing in $30 million a year, attracting everyone from dentists to NASA scientists. In October, Geomagic landed $8 million in venture capital from Valhalla Partners -- cash she'll use to grow the business during the down economy. "I've always been an optimist," Ping says.
