Over the past decade, the name George Foreman has become virtually synonymous with the Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine, the portable, foolproof grill by which Foreman achieved infomercial fame. In addition to selling nearly 100 million grills, Foreman has built quite the entrepreneurial resume, including launching a line of environmentally-friendly cleaning products, creating his own health shake, and starting a restaurant franchise called UFood Grille. And with the recent launch of "Family Foreman," a reality show about Foreman's family life airing on TV Land, he can now add reality TV star to the list.
With all his business ventures, it's easy to forget that it was Foreman's athletic talent as a boxer that brought him fame in the first place. Foreman boxed his way to an Olympic gold medal at the 1968 Mexico City games at age 19, and went on to have a long and successful career as a professional boxer and two-time World Heavyweight Champion.
