The ideal press release tells enough of a story that a reporter could write a piece on the topic with minimal follow up. Be sure your press release contains an adequate quantity of facts, quotes, and examples. At the same time, try to keep your release brief. Readers should not have to -- and they won't -- wade through pages of details. Put the most important information at the top, just like a news story.
