At the age of 20, Fields was a young housewife with no business experience, yet she dreamed of sharing her chocolate chip cookies with the world. After managing to sell her concept to a bank, she borrowed enough money to open Mrs. Fields in 1977, which today includes 600-plus company owned and franchise stores worldwide.
