Brandt Andersen had his share of early struggles, and almost closed his company in its second year. Instead he changed his whole focus, from designing high-end websites to selling a do-it-yourself software program called uBuilder. The Web-based application has since helped 30,000 small and medium-size businesses create their own online stores and process credit card payments. As a 26-year-old CEO, Andersen oversees a relaxed shop. Employees who meet certain goals can still borrow the company Porsche for the weekend even though, he admits, "it's been wrecked several times."
