This sample of heavy-duty armor is made up of woven steel fiber and is 13 times stronger than structural steel. First developed by CEO George Tunis in his garage, this material can withstand armor-piercing bullets and blasts from IEDs. The current version of the armor is being used on U.S. military vehicles in Iraq.
