In February, I wrote about a website called LawBidding.com, founded by corporate attorney Nick Cronin, that helps match businesses with lawyers. Cronin recently added accounting to the mix with CPAbidding.com, a marketplace that pairs businesses with CPAs. On the site, businesses can confidentially post their accounting needs and receive bids from CPAs, who must submit their certification numbers to register with the site. Prospective clients can read profiles on CPAs who make bids and contact them on public or private message threads. The service is free for both CPAs and clients interested in retaining their services. Check out both services on the combined ProfessionalsBidding.com homepage.
